Caged beast

Well looky what I caught. I've been after catching this little blighter for some time now. The little nut scoffing shit owes me six months rent. He's been living in my loft for ages.

I've had the trap up there for sometime now, but he has evaded it every day. The trap was a last ditch effort after plugging all the holes in my loft failed to put it off. The only problem is, once caught a man from the council is going to come and kill it (humanely, I might add).

I tried sticking the bait to the trigger panel, behind the panel, anywhere just to trick it. Every morning I'd get up and the bait is gone, the trap is still set. Little sod!

Well not this time! I finally caught the little furry swine. The only problem was once I'd caught it I couldn't justify killing it.

So I had a little unwelcome guest caged in my attic. Mrs D was not keen to have it killed so we drove out to a nature reserve, to release it. I know, a wuss-out.

The other problem was finding a place to release it. They are, after all, vermin. You can get in trouble if caught releasing them next to houses. Also, if not far enough away, they will find their way back. Eek!

But I've got rid now. And without blood on my hands.
